So, closed beta is almost completed: what’s going to happen now? What about USA? Any new content?


These are our official answers to the questions that have run through the forum in the last months

- Open beta will be released within the end of December: this test phase can be considered over now. We will still report the bugs you’ll post on the topic to the dev team, but we have now tested everything and all major bugs have been uncovered. The next weeks will let us release the best product, as we want to grant the players the most enjoyable game experience.

- Until the Open Beta we will not have updates; then we will release a consistent number of new features, so that the passage to that phase will be really involving.

- The current characters database will be reset a short time before the Open Beta, to allow all of the players both old and new to start over from the same point. There will be a little gift for all the Beta Testers to show our appreciation, more details will come later. We know this will probably seem “annoying” for someone, but it is necessary to keep the game balanced. Remember that experienced players will not have so many problems in getting their beloved characters at full strength as soon as the new client is ready.

And now, what’s probably the most anticipated answer:

We are sorry for the time needed to define the situation, but we will have an IP block for people coming from North America, since the game will be hosted there by a US based company. As far, this decision will affect only Dream of Mirror and no other GameTribe products.


We really wish to thank all the players that took part to this phase of the game test: your help has been precious to bring the game further and to list all the flaws!
